Landon

Senior Supervisor of Operations Management at Phonathon

Practically since he arrived on campus, Landon Rordam '10 has been student caller. Now as a Phonathon supervisor, Landon will continue to work hard with other callers. Photo by David F. Morrill Hi!  I'm Landon, and I am the Senior Supervisor of Operations Management here at the William & Mary Phonathon.  I work behind the scenes, handling caller bonuses, coaching reports, and basically oiling all the cogs that keep our fundraising machinery working.  I also perform all of the duties of every other supervisor: running the floor, playing games, and coaching.  This year, I was also asked to serve as a student member of the Fund for William and Mary Board of Directors, and I am very excited to commence my work with the Board!

I am a senior biology major, with a minor in philosophy.  This past summer, I used my Monroe scholarship (provided for by money from the Fund for William and Mary!) to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark and study the works and life of Søren Kierkegaard, a pre-existential philosopher.  I had the time of my life, and I'm ready for my final year as a student and a supervisor at Phonathon!
