Why Should I Give?
Why Participate?
- Because you can make a difference! Your support - no matter the amount will make an impact for William & Mary and the students who follow in your footsteps. Just think - for the cost of a couple pizzas, you can make an investment that supports what William & Mary means to you.
- To be a pacesetter for fellow classmates and alumni. Your example will inspire others to give. Together, annual gifts add up to significant sums and show our pride in our alma mater.
- Private support is crucial to the William and Mary experience. Combined tuition/fees and state support provide just over half of the College's operating budget. Private gifts are an important factor in the College's financial picture.
- Set a new record for cash gift participation. In the past, seniors pledged support with payments due in the future. Our class will make an immediate impact today by setting the record for cash gifts received.
- Remember - gifts of all levels ($10 minimum) add up to make a difference for William & Mary and count toward our participation goal. All donors will be listed in the honor roll of donors published in the Flat Hat and on the College's website.
