Critical to supporting the College’s ongoing pursuit of excellence is The College of William & Mary Foundation. Through a unique combination of endowed and annual gifts, the Foundation continues to fulfill its original mission — to “aid, strengthen, and expand in every proper and useful way the work, usefulness and objects of” the College. A diligent steward of more than three quarters of the College’s investments since 1939, the Foundation currently manages an endowment within the structure of the William and Mary Investment Trust (WAMIT).
