Student Accounts - Financial Aid
Financial Ops · Student Accounts · About Your Bill · Financial Aid...Loans, Scholarships and Grants
The billing statements reflect all College-administered financial aid awards for the billed semester. Private off-campus scholarships are shown as payments only if the College received the scholarship check prior to the date of the billing statement. Private scholarship payments that have not been received are shown as memos on the bill and have been deducted from the semester charges. If for some reason the scholarship money is never received by the College, the student will be responsible for paying the balance owed.
Work study/scholarship awards have not been deducted from the bill as they cannot be used for payment of tuition.
Pending memos for Stafford, private and PLUS loans:
The College lists offered and/or accepted Stafford, PLUS, Perkins and private loans as memos on the billing statement. The loan memo amount is the approximate disbursement (the loan check amount) that the College will receive for the semester. In the event that the PLUS loan is denied by the lender or any of the loans are not accepted by the borrower, the memo will be removed from the account and the student will be responsible for paying all outstanding charges.
Any balance not covered by financial aid must be paid in full by the due date on your billing statement. Any unpaid balances will result in registration holds and holds on your transcripts.
