Transfer Students Spring 2008
Spring 2008 transfer students who are seeking financial aid must file the 2007-2008 FAFSA. The FAFSA should be filed as soon as possible, but not later than November 15, 2007. The federal school code for the College of William and Mary is 003705.
Transfer admission letters are scheduled to be mailed by December 5. We will begin sending Financial Aid award letters the week of December 5th, if your FAFSA is on file.
All returning students, including transfers, are reminded to file the 2008-2009 FAFSA by March 15, 2008.
Transfer Student Aid Eligibility: For all College grant funds, your eligibility is restricted to eight regular semesters, just as it is for the general student population. Your previous academic credits are counted in the total number of semesters of eligibility. For example, if you enter with the equivalent of two semesters, you will have six semesters of College funding. If you enter with an Associate Degree, you will be a junior and have four semesters of grant eligibility. If you need a ninth or tenth semester, you can receive federal loans and, if you are eligible, a Pell Grant for a total of 10 semesters.
