A student worker for the Office of Health Education (OHE) is producing a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 posters to be utilized in a Social Marketing Campaign that will launch in Fall 2008.  The concept of the posters will be stated by the OHE supervisor and the student worker is free to provide artistic interpretation to achieve an acceptable finished product.  Any concept not provided by the OHE supervisor may be suggested for consideration but will require approval to be included in the project.  The posters must include predefined fields of text that can be edited at a later date.  The posters should be created utilizing appropriate software such as Photoshop.  The finished products must be suitable for a college population, creative, convey the desired messages, and have visual appeal.  The student is responsible for generating (or capturing) images, formatting the products, and delivering print ready electronic files of the posters.  The OHE supervisor will assist with concept development, image selection, and location of resources when necessary.   The finished product must be approved by the OHE supervisor.

The work agreement will include specific deadlines, meeting times, and regular progress updates.  The actual poster design and field work may be conducted on the students’ own schedule provided the deadlines can be achieved.  Compensation is offered for the entire project (not on an hourly basis).  Compensation is negotiable based skill level and experience.
