Musical Benefit Night
The VSF Company, as has been their tradition for the past five years, will present an evening of musical numbers, with all proceeds benefiting the Festival. From madrigals to Broadway show tunes, the evening is a delightful look at the "other side" of the talented company of actors. Admission by donation, pay what you can.

Summer Youth Art Series

July 21, 9:00am - August 1, 3:45pm | Muscarelle Museum

The Muscarelle Museum is sponsoring three sessions of art classes for children ages 6 to 8. Session I runs July 21–25, from 9 a.m–12 p.m., with Session II on the same dates, from 12:45–3:45 p.m. Session III takes place July 28–August 1, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
An additional session for ages 9 to 12 will take place July 28–August 1, 12:45–3:45 p.m.

Artistic Director Christopher Owens kicks off the 30th Anniversary Season of the Virginia Shakespeare Festival with three smash hits, a professional company recruited from all over the country and a few major changes to sound acoustics and ticket sales.


A campuswide party celebrating the tenure of Sam Sadler at the College of William and Mary was held on April 18.


Visiting the College of William and Mary as the 2008 Hunter B. Andrews Fellow in American Politics, Sen. John Warner said that he has seen a lot of changes in the U.S. Senate during his five consecutive terms in office. 

The second annual "Moment to Remember" was held on March 18 to honor those who have served in the armed forces.
