400 Years of History at the first permanent English settlement!
Do you live in the local Williamsburg/Virginia Peninsula area, or within reasonable driving distance of Williamsburg? Do you have a Colonial Williamsburg Good Neighbor Pass? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you are eligible to attend our Elderhostel programs at a discounted Commuter rate!
The Commuter Rate includes:
- All scheduled lectures, field trips, and entertainment programs
- Lunches and dinners
- Transportation for all field trips on our chartered buses
The Commuter Rate does not include:
- Accommodations
- Breakfast
- Transportation to and from the hotel each day
- A Colonial Williamsburg ticket
Commuters must have a Colonial Williamsburg Good Neighbor Pass, as a CW ticket is not included in the commuter rate. Please remember to bring your Good Neighbor Pass with you to the program. If you live in Williamsburg but do not have a Good Neighbor Pass, you can obtain one by contacting Colonial Williamsburg at (757) 229-1000. There is a small fee for this pass.
When you have selected your program, please call (757) 221-3649 so that we can confirm space is available and provide you with rate information. We will send you a Health and Information Form and a Commuter Registration Form-- please return them to our office along with a check in the amount of your deposit. This check should be made payable to the College of William and Mary.
Please note, commuter rates are not available for our Charlottesville area programs.
Thank you for your interest!
