Collaborative Projects
Using collaborative projects allows classrooms from around the world to work together. Classrooms may work with other classrooms on a common topic or theme and communicate ideas back and forth extensively.
There are many places on the Internet where teachers can find collaborative projects to participate in. Specific websites coordinate collaborative projects with directions to follow and instructional resources to use. Also, individual teachers may create projects and then advertise for partners on the Internet. Once collaborative projects take place, most of these projects are published on the Internet for all to see. This includes a description of the project, student work, and resources uses (websites, etc.).
Here is a list of websites that coordinate collaborative projects and/or connect teachers and classrooms from around the world.
