xpendable private monies - also known as "annual" or "unrestricted" funds - play a major part in the College's budget and allow William and Mary and its various constituent schools and programs to address their most immediate needs. Meant to be spent right away, expendable funds support priorities such as faculty research and development, student research, new equipment and special programs.
