Where do you go for advice when you are confused by University policies, you need an emergency leave of absence, you want time management/study skills help, or you'd just like to get the answers you need?

The Dean of Students Office can assist students with:

• advice on academic and administrative policies, procedures, and grievances
• support while experiencing a crisis
• leave of absence for emergencies
• information on College and community resources
• assistance in problem solving within the College system

Staff members are available to meet with any member of the College community from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.daily. Call or stop by the office to schedule an appointment.

Deans Hours
Each business day the Office of the Dean of Students schedules time for students who want a same-day appointment with a Dean.  Students may request a same day appointment by calling 757-221-2510 or by visiting the office in Campus Center 109.  These appointments fill up quickly, therefore please call early in the day to request an appointment. 
Please Note: These appointments are only 20 minutes long and are available Monday through Friday in the afternoons.
