The Carolyn R. Watson Assistive Technology Center
The Carolyn R. Watson Assistive Technology Center was made possible by funds from Carolyn Watson, Class of 1943. Designed to enhance educational access through technology, the lab is located on the first floor of the Campus Center (Room 110) and maintains day, evening, and weekend hours during the regular academic year.
This lab offers the following assistive supports to William and Mary students, staff, and faculty with disabilities:
- (3) 486 DX2 computer stations with 20" monitors
- Kurzweil Reading Edge Reader/Scanner
- Job Access With Speech (JAWS)
- Blazie Braille Embosser
- Adaptive Keyboard
- Type N Speak
- Chroma CCD 20" Closed Circuit Television
- Hewlett Packard ScanJet Scanner
- Duxbury Braille Translation Software
