We are celebrating the history and vitality of the William and Mary Dance Program by inviting alumni who are active in the field of dance to return to the College and teach workshops during our first summer intensive. Join us for classes in body work and improvisation open to all levels, intermediate and advanced technique classes, a forum on dance criticism, a choreography showing, and times for socializing.

* Open Studio Showing:  An open showing is scheduled in Adair Hall for 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 16.  Please indicate on your registration form whether you wish to show a piece.  We ask for a time limit of 10 minutes or less per choreographer.  The studio sound system can play CDs and we will provide simple "light up, lights out" lighting.  Dancers will have an opportunity to run their dance ahead of time, but there will not be extensive practice periods as the studio is also being used for classes.

Tuition:  $280 (Early bird tuition: $240 by March 14.  Deposit to hold a space:  $100 with balance due by May 1)

Accommodations/Meals/Travel:
We have arranged for accommodations at Ludwell Apartments off of Jamestown Road near the William and Mary campus (Single: $151/3 nights; Double: $106/3 nights). The apartments include kitchen facilities for which occupants bring their own cooking/serving utensils and plates.  Linens will be provided.  Please check the
Guest Information/Dorm Life  link to find out what these accommodations are like.  In addition, the Hospitality House is located on Richmond Road across from the stadium and the following webpage lists many other local hotels.  The Marketplace Cafeteria at the University Center will be open for meals during the intensive, and there are also many local restaurants in the area.   Airport shuttle information can be found here: Transportation Information.  For those who are driving, parking is available in the parking garage next to Adair Hall.  You may print out your own parking pass here or pick one up during check in.  A campus map and directions to campus can be found here: Directions and Maps.  To find Adair Hall from 64E -- exit 234 is 199E, travel 8 miles to turn left onto Jamestown Road.  From 64W -- exit 242A is 199W, travel 5.2 miles and turn right onto Jamestown Road.  From Jamestown Road, Ukrop Way will be on your left and both the parking garage and Adair Hall are on your left.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received in writing by May 10 will receive a full refund minus a $30 processing fee.  Cancellations received in writing by June 9 will receive a refund minus the $100 deposit.  There will be no refunds after June 9.
