Are your residence halls air conditioned?
Many of our residences are air conditioned. We primarily use air conditioned halls for our conference groups, but do offer non-air conditioned spaces when requested.
Do we need to bring our own sheets and towels?
Conference Services provides sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets when contracted to do so by the group.
Do you offer assistance in program planning, arranging speakers, setting up exhibit areas, poster sessions, and special functions?
Yes, we can offer assistance in all areas of event planning and management. The Conference Services staff is interested in discussing any concepts and ideas you might have to make your event successful.
What type of meeting spaces are available?
The College has numerous meeting and event rooms, which can seat as few as 20 people or as many as 10,000. Whether your conference calls for a beautiful banquet room, an auditorium, a large arena, a traditional classroom, a computer lab, an outdoor reception in the Sunken Garden, or a combination of all of these, we can work with you to identify the perfect meeting space.
Are there recreation facilities available for conference groups?
Yes, the College has field space, tennis courts, a gym, basketball courts, and a pool which can be reserved for your group activities. Also available for teambuilding activities is a ropes course.
What are the eating options on campus?
Arrangements may be made for a full meal plan through the College's dining program. The meal plan is available for one to three meals daily, and is cafeteria-style with "unlimited seconds." For special banquets, coffee breaks, etc., the College's dining services has its own extraordinary catering division. The dining services staff is happy to work with our conference groups to develop any special dining needs and services.
How easy is it to get to campus by car, train or plane?
