Summer Language Programs

Summer Programs are a great way to achieve rapidly proficiency in a language. Below is a list of summer programs offering Latin and/or Greek.

Students interested in continuing on to graduate study in Classics will need to have proficiency in German and French or Italian in addition to that of Greek and Latin. A summer program in these modern languages will prepare you well for this graduate school requirement.

University of Arizona Summer Intensive Latin Program.

University of Texas at Austin Department of Classics Summer Program: offers both intensive Latin and Greek.

University of Virginia Summer Latin Institute: offers intensive Latin.

Yale University Summer Session. Offers Ancient Greek and Latin (beginning and intermediate level)
