James Monroe Scholars Program

James Monroe Scholars are the most academically distinguished undergraduates at the College of William and Mary. Monroe Scholars represent approximately the top 7% of the student body. Students in the James Monroe Scholar Program must present standardized test scores reflective of the top five percent nationally and graduate in the highest range in their high school classes. Above all, Monroe Scholars are selected based on a concern for community, intellectual depth, curiosity and demonstrated devotion to learning for learning's sake.

Students interested in learning more about the James Monroe Scholar Program should contact Charles Center Associate Director Lisa Grimes (757-221-2578, lmgrim@wm.edu).
