Latin Honors
What does it mean to graduate with Latin honors?
To recognize outstanding academic achievement, the College awards degrees cum laude, magna cum laude and summa cum laude. The overall grade point average required for a degree cum laude is 3.50, for a degree magna cum laude 3.65, and for a degree summa cum laude 3.80. This honor is noted on the student’s diploma and on the academic transcript.
