Hometown: Clive, Iowa (contrary to popular belief I did not grow up on a farm but I am proud to be "corn-fed")

Current Position: Senior Assistant Dean of Admission

Alma Mater: College of William & Mary (I loved it so much I also completed a master's degree at the College)

Married to: My W&M sweetheart

Fun Facts: I co-own a hip-hop night club with my husband and I have twice beaten the Dean of Admission in a fantasy-football grudge match

I Bleed: Green and Gold (for W&M), and brown and orange (for my beloved Cleveland Browns)

I oversee our campus tour guide program and our summer interview program.  Working with students is richly rewarding and a constant adventure.  I also lead our office's communication initiatives which includes several mediums (publications, social networking, web management, and email campaigns).  I serve as the liaison to our Publications Office. I travel for the office throughout Virginia and the country and present information sessions here on campus.  I currently serve on the Professional Faculty Assembly and I am former Vice President of the Alumni Association's Young Guarde Council.  There is rarely a dull or unbusy moment around here.  Our hours are long and unorthodox but the job is interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
