  1. Ombuds Office
    The W&M Ombuds Office serves as an alternate and informal resource for all categories of employees seeking assistance with workplace concerns. In the case of instructional faculty operating in administrative roles, the Ombuds can provide the same resources and options available to other employee categories. Staff members are welcome to come and talk in confidence about any concerns, no matter how big or small.
  2. Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture
    The Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture is the only organization in the United States exclusively dedicated to the advancement of study, research and publications bearing on the history and culture of early America to approximately 1815. The Institute's focus also encompasses the Caribbean, Latin America, the British Isles, Europe and Africa, insofar as the study of the histories and cultures of these places is relevant to the mainland of North America from 1500 to 1815.
  3. Orientation, New Student
    Orientation occurs immediately before the fall (August) and spring (January) semesters to introduce new students to many aspects of the university including student life, academic policies and the honor code. The goal of each orientation program is to make our students feel right at home from the moment they set foot on campus.
