Hazing Prevention The Hazing Prevention Coalition works to empower the W&M community to prevent hazing. The Coalition helps the community recognize hazing, understand its implications, develop intolerance for hazing activities and act/report when hazing occurs.

Health Promotion, Office of The Office of Health Promotion has four main focus areas: mental health and wellness, sexual assault, sexual health and alcohol and other substances.
Healthy Beginnings The Healthy Beginnings Project studies adaptation and resilience to risk. Partnering with community agencies, undergraduate and graduate research assistants conduct studies with children and families in the community. In addition, we sponsor a diaper outreach program for members of our community with diaper need.
Hearth: Memorial to the Enslaved William & Mary has erected a brick memorial which resembles a fireplace and features the names of people who are known to have been enslaved by the university.
Herbarium The herbarium of William & Mary (WILLI) is a research collection of over 81,500 archivally-preserved plant specimens. We support projects across William & Mary as well as other universities, private agencies, and government organizations. Most of the vascular plant species of the Virginia Coastal Plain are found in the collection.
Highland, James Monroe's Highland is a public history museum and historic site in Central Virginia owned by William & Mary since 1974. It is a community-facing component of William & Mary, serving as a laboratory for future-oriented history, archaeology, and environmental stewardship. Students are invited to seek opportunities to explore Highland within their own course of studies.
Hispanic Studies Our program invites students to become fluent in the Spanish language and promotes cultural competencies based in the Spanish-speaking world, including the U.S. Students explore forms of cultural production including photography, film, art, social and mass media, literature, material culture, and historical documents.
History The study of history prepares students for informed citizenship in a complex and interdependent world. Our graduate and undergraduate students gain a deep and broad knowledge of the people, events, and issues of world history. In doing so, they develop the methodological and analytical skills required to open all realms of the past to critical inquiry.

Housing & Dining Comprehensive Facilities Plan William & Mary has initiated a long-term, comprehensive plan to modernize and revitalize its residential and dining facilities. The project spans 10 years over three phases to address aging residence and dining halls and ensure they advance the integration of living and learning on campus.
