Rebecca Lindenberg 2000 (B.A. English) writes:
After moving to New York City with fellow WRC-er, Mandy Brown, in 2000
and working for the Barnes & Noble internet start-up and then for
Henry Holt & Co. Publishers, I fled publishing for academia. I'm
now working on my Ph.D. in Poetry at the University of Utah. My work
has been published in Gulf Coast, The Colorado Review, POOL, Barrow Street, The Western Humanities Review,
as well as publications in Italy, where I lived for a year at the
American Academy in Rome, and in Colombia, where I participated in an International Poetry Festival in Bogota last year. I got to spend
a couple of weeks this summer as a Tennessee Williams Scholar at
the Sewanee Writer's Conference, so though graduate school is a ton of
work and pays very little, it's going pretty well and I'm enjoying
myself.
I was in Williamsburg this Christmas with my family: my partner, Craig, also a poet, and Robin, age 13. We dropped into the WRC and got to say hullo to Sharon - our little jaunt was one of the highlights of the holiday.

Betsy Rosenblatt Rosso '96 writes:
I am still an English major inside. I have my own business (www.betsyrosso.com)
writing, editing, and doing communications consulting for nonprofit
organizations to help them tell their stories. More importantly, I have
a wonderful daughter born in April 2007. Life is good.
