2012 Women's Studies Graduates

Laura Andrew (Women's Studies): Media and Marketing Director
Immediately after graduation I moved to Brooklyn, NY with my partner, Emma Caterine, who is also a member of W&M's class of 2012. I am currently employed by the queer fashion company Marimacho as their Social Media and Marketing Director. Marimacho designs in-house and locally manufactures masculine clothing for the unconventionally masculine. We just launched our Souvenir Collection, featuring bathing pieces designed with trans* and gender non-conforming bodies in mind. I am still adjusting to NYC life and finding my way around... but I am excited for the future and with every day I feel a little more like a real New Yorker. I feel very fortunate to have found work that I am passionate about and utilizes the training and education I received from the Women's Studies department. (2012)
