Costume Stitchers (2)  5/25 - 7/12 - ( 7 weeks) $1,750 for season plus housing.  Assist shop foreman with new construction, shop renovation and assemble of finished wardrobe for productions of Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice, produced in stock. Requires skill and experience with period costuming, proficiency with standard and industrial sewing equipment and ability to assist interns and volunteers. Six-day week, beautiful Williamsburg location, pleasant facilities. Cutter/Asst. Designer  5/25- 7/12 - Stipend of $1,900 plus housing.  Designer with fabric selections, cut from original and existing patterns for productions of Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice. Requires skill and experience with period costuming, proficiency with standard and industrial sewing equipment and ability to assist interns and volunteers. Six-day week, beautiful Williamsburg location, pleasant facilities. Costume Shop Interns (3) 5/29 - 7/31 - Stipend of $1,200 for 9 week season plus shared campus housing. College credit available with payment of tuition. Construction and running of productions of Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice produced in stock on the campus of The College of William & Mary. Six-day week in pleasant facilities. Requires experience with standard and/or industrial sewing machines, wardrobe, interest in period costuming. Scenic Painter 5/29 - 7/12 - (6 weeks) $1,800 plus housing. Under the supervision of Resident Scenic Designer, paint scenery for Two Gentleman of Verona  and The Merchant of Venice. Six-day week, two story paint frame in shop, will be painting both two dimensional and three dimensional scenery. Master Electrician  5/25 - 7/13 (6 1/2 weeks) $1,500 plus housing. Hang and Focus productions of The Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Merchant of Venice.  First show opens 6/13, closes 7/8, four day turnaround to opening of second show on 7/13.  Both productions this year in arena style black box theatre, ETC Expression Board.  Supervise one Lighting Intern and a few volunteers. Properties Master 5/29 - 7/12 - (6 weeks) $1,800 plus housing. Acquire, build and organize hand properties and furniture for Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice. Design and painting skills essential, proficiency with welding and other construction preferred. Work under supervision of Scenic Designer and Technical Director. Responsible for maintenance of current good stock of furniture and properties. Master Carpenter/ATD 5/25 - 7/12 (7 weeks) $2,000 plus housing. Assist TD with work schedule, maintain materials inventory, supervise two lead carpenters and student production interns on builds of Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice. Proficiency with wood, plastic and metals technology. 760 seat proscenium, 48 line house, well equipped shop, six-day week. Lead Carpenters (2) 5/25 - 7/12 (6 1/2 weeks) $1,600 plus housing. Build, load-in, and strike of Two Gentleman of Verona and one The Merchant of Venice.. Proficiency with wood, plastic and metal technology in well-equipped shop. Work with Resident Scenic Designer, TD, Master Carpenter, Properties Master, and production interns in overall company of 40 (Equity Guest Artist Contract). Production Interns & ASMs   5/29 - 7/31. Stipend of $1,200 for  9 week season plus shared campus housing provided. College credit available with payment of tuition. Set construction, electrics work, properties, scenic painting, sound, costume shop, assistant stage management all available in intensive season of Two Gentleman of Verona and The Merchant of Venice.. Six-day week, pleasant work environment, company of 40 (Equity Special Appearance Contract). Resume should stress nature of experience in area of choice.
