Summer Camps
In 2012 the VSF will provide two camps for young actors wishing to learn about the production of Shakespeare's plays.
Our staff Camp Directors will guide young people ages 11-17 through the playing of Shakespeare's language, movement exercises, the basics of vocal projection, and other acting skills.
Each camp lasts one week (Monday through Friday) and culminates in a performance of an abridged version of a Shakespeare play in the Studio Theatre for the final afternoon of camp.
The cost is $225 per camper. This is for tuition only, these camps are day camps, not residential so if a student is from out of town they will need to find their own housing in the area for that week of camp. You can sign up by calling our office at 757-221-2683 after February 15, 2012.
