Accreditation

The College of William & Mary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) . University of St Andrews is not accredited by SACSCOC and the accreditation of the College of William & Mary does not extend to or include University of St Andrews or its students. Although the College of William & Mary accepts certain course work in transfer toward a credential from University of St Andrews, or collaborates in other ways for generation of course credits or program credentials, other colleges and universities may or may not accept this work in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from the College of William & Mary. This decision is made by the institution subsequently considering the possibility of accepting such credits.

Note:  The University of St Andrews has partnerships with many U.S. institutions, and transfer credit is widely accepted. Information about career placement and admission to graduate study for St Andrews graduates is readily available on the university's website.
