Transfers into the Joint Programme

Most students will be admitted into the Joint Degree Programme from high school, and will decide before they submit their deposit whether they will accept admission into the standard W&M track or into one of the four majors in the Joint Degree Programme.

However, in certain circumstances, students may be permitted to apply to the Joint Degree Programme during their first year in the standard track at William and Mary.   Potential applicants must be willing to commit to one of the four majors, must understand the conditions that distinguish the Joint Programme from the standard track, must be on track to meet first year requirements,  and must consult either the major advisor or the academic Director, [[cjkenn, Colleen Kennedy]], as early in the academic year as is possible.  In addition, there must be space in the selected major.
