Tuition and Financial Aid

How much does it cost?

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees will be $36,600 for academic year 2014-2015; students admitted through William & Mary will be charged at $18,300 per semester. Additional costs include room and board, travel, special instructional fees (e.g., for music instruction), books, fines, personal expenses, etc.  For more information about housing (accommodation) costs, see W&M Room Rates or St Andrews Residence Fees.

Financial Aid

There is limited financial aid available to St Andrews Joint Degree students.  Financial aid initiatives such as Gateway William & Mary will not be applied to the aid package for joint degree students.  Grants and loans will be awarded to meet demonstrated financial need for Virginia residents; need-based grant funds for out-of-state students will be much more limited. Students accepted to both the Joint Degree Programme and the standard W&M program will receive two separate award letters.

Students applying through William & Mary and seeking financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
