Tuition and Financial Aid

How much does it cost?

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees will be $39,650 for academic year 2016-2017; students admitted through William & Mary will be charged at $19,825 per semester. Additional costs include room and board, travel, special instructional fees (e.g., for music instruction), books, fines, personal expenses, etc.  For more information about housing (accommodation) costs, see W&M Room Rates or St Andrews Residence Fees.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to Joint Degree students admitted through William & Mary.

In most cases, Virginia residents will have their full financial need met. Qualifying out-of-state students may receive up to 25% of their full cost of attendance in grant aid.  If you are accepted to both the joint degree and standard programs, you will receive two separate award letters.  The award notifcation for the regular W&M program will be sent to your W&M email address.  The one for the Joint Programme will be sent via regular US mail.

Please contact Edward P. Irish at epiris@wm.edu if you have any questions about your St. Andrews aid award.

Students applying through William & Mary and seeking financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
