Academic Advising: Forms and Resources

The Course Selection Guide and the Amateur Advisor self-help advising guide are invaluable resources if you are seeking in-depth analysis of how to navigate your way through the curriculum. They contain detailed, practical information on degree requirements and will help you plan a course of study to meet your academic goals. We recommend that you consider these resources carefully in advance so that you are well prepared to work with your academic advisor. These documents were last updated Fall 2007. Through the Student Mentor Program new incoming students are matched with an upperclass student who has been trained to assist you with questions related to course selection, registration, and general academic advice. Request a mentor through the Academic Advising Questionnaire on myWM.
