Undergraduate Program

Every freshman entering William and Mary begins his or her study in the undergraduate program of Arts & Sciences. Nearly 90 percent of the students in each entering class choose to remain in Arts & Sciences and graduate with a B.A. or B.S. degree.

Our faculty have structured the undergraduate program so that students learn broadly, learn deeply, and gain the experience and skills that shape independent thinkers – engaged in the world around them, and prepared to assume leadership roles in their chosen fields.

Matching Grant for Environmental Program
