Background

Mary Jo Damon has been the Costume Shop Manager for William and Mary Theatre and the Virginia Shakespeare Festival since 2001. She has designed and executed costumes for dancers, clowns, festivals, and conventions from New York to Florida, but loves to call Williamsburg her home.  She has designed costumes for several musicals produced through the department's Performance Seminar including Hello Again, Urinetwon, Reefer Madness, and Lucky Stiff.  She served as the costume designer for the 2009 Virginia Shakespeare Festival productions of Art.
