Boddé taught Theatre and directed in the BFA Conservatory Program at Shenandoah University for eight years before coming to William and Mary. Currently in her sixth year teaching at W&M, she worked with the Virginia Shakespeare Festival for six seasons as Promotions Manager, Actor, and Director for the Young Shakespeare Camps. Boddé is Founder and Producer/Director of an independent theatre company—Reliance Theatre Project—which was housed in the historic schoolhouse home of Shenandoah University's current President. Reliance Theatre Project produced works dedicated to social justice, donating its profits to local causes. Professional Acting credits include a full season at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC, working with Stacy Keach, Lynn Redgrave, and Joe Dowling. She studied Acting in New York with Walt Witcover, and Voice/Speech with Arthur Lessac.
