This Wildlife Education internship will take place mainly at the headquarters building of the Game Dept. 4010 West Broad Street in Richmond, parking provided. Duties / responsibilities will include

1. To assist with the Project WILD professional development courses at VA Science Institute for STEM Education and Chesapeake Bay summer teacher institutes and in-service workshops.
2.To help develop lesson kits on wildlife topics  for use by DGIF agency staff and volunteers.  This will involve writing or adapting lesson plans, gathering materials and putting the kits together. 
3.General in office work of preparing materials for teachers to use in the teaching of wildlife.
4. There may be opportunties for students to help wildlife biologists with summer research projects for a couple of days
