Summary : In this research internship, the intern will conduct field studies of diamondback terrapins living in tidal creeks on the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station property. He or she will construct, deploy, and monitor traps for terrapins, crabs, and other bycatch, 5 days/week, and use data to determine demographics and estimate terrapin populations.
Interview Required : Yes
Special Requirements : Daily travel to field sites. Intern must become W&M van-certified.
Minimum Time Commitment : 8 Weeks
Lodging Provided : W&M lodging contingent upon availability.
