We are a molecular yeast genetics lab studying small protein modifiers required for protein degradation, cell cycle progression, the DNA damage response, and cell signaling. The intern will be part of research team including undergraduate students, Masters students, and a post-doc. Responsibilities include their own research project (to be determined with the principal investigator), record data and log strains and plasmids, present progress to the P.I., and attend lab meetings. There will a possibility to work with high school students if so desired.
Lodging for summer students is provided in the W&M dorms on campus.
