Update on Madeeha Hameed

Madeeha Hameed, class of 2009, is working as a Research Assistant to Prof. Akbar Ahmed, Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies at American University in Washington. She’s part of the team producing a one-hour television program for PBS, ”Journey into America,” about Muslims and religious pluralism in the U.S.

In September she and Prof. Ahmed were in St. Louis, Missouri, where they did a radio interview program on “Muslims in America” on KWMU.
