Emergency Management and Response Panel
Speakers on the panel:
Captain Steve Lambert - Virginia Fusion Center - The Fusion Center is a partnership between Virginia State Police and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. It was developed to better facilitate the "exchange of information and resources" between agencies for the purpose of national security.
Conrad Estrada - USDA National Center for Animal Health Emergency Management - "As leaders in animal health emergency management, we develop strategies and policies for effective incident management, and we coordinate incident responses."
Jeffrey Stern - A former White House Fellow who served at the U.S. Department of Interior in the Office of Law Enforcement, Security and Emergency Management. Before his fellowship he was deputy coordinator of emergency services at the Arlington Fire Department. He is currently working on his doctorate in public administration at Virginia Tech.
