Financial Considerations

Neither the College of William & Mary nor the National Institute of American History and Democracy offers financial aid for the Collegiate Summer Program.

The cost of the program, including all class materials, all museum admissions, all fieldtrip expenses, and all special programs, is $2,250 for Virginia residents and $3,750 for non-residents.

IMPORTANT: A non-refundable deposit of $400 will be required within two weeks of acceptance. This deposit will be applied to the overall cost of the program.

DORM: Students are not required to live on campus, but space is available in an air-conditioned W&M dorm. The cost of a double room has not yet been determined but should be approximately $525 for the 3 week session.

MEALS: Students have the option of providing their own meals or taking individual meals on campus. A formal meal plan is not required. There are also many restaurants within walking distance of the William & Mary campus.
