Undergraduate Program

Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary program. Students majoring in Neuroscience usually declare the major before the beginning of preregistration for the first semester of their junior year by contacting: Professor Porter (Psychology), Professor Hunt (Psychology), or Professor Griffin (Biology).

Over the last several years, requirements for majoring in Neuroscience have gone through a series of changes. If you are a current Neuroscience Major, you will follow the requirements set out in the Undergraduate Catalog for the year in which you declared your major (note that most students declare their majors in spring of their sophomore year).
