Academic Advising for Neuroscience Majors
If you are an incoming freshman, please indicate on your advising information that you are thinking about becoming a Neuroscience major, and you will be matched up with a freshman advisor who knows the program.
Academic Advising for all majors is coordinated by Christy Porter (Neuroscience Administrator). After consulting with them, you will be assigned a Neuroscience Advisor who is best suited to help you achieve your academic goals. An informational session for students interested in a declaring Neuroscience major is held in spring before registration for the coming fall.
When you are ready to declare, please complete the Current Requirements Checklist and bring it to the meeting with your advisor.
