Areas of Specialization
Sarah Ford Bland is in her ninth year as a piano instructor at William and Mary. “I enjoy teaching here because the students are so motivated and eager to learn. I find immense satisfaction in helping a student work through a problem, be it a technical or musical challenge, and discover progress and improvement in his/her playing. Many of my students come directly from Group Piano. I especially enjoy teaching this late beginner level because of the students’ strong foundation in basic music theory and keyboard facility.”
