Jamie Bartlett, Associate Director of Choirs, received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College, her master's degree from the Eastman School of Music and her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her principle conducting teachers are Robert Fountain, Don Neuen and Catharine Melhorn. Prior to her appointment as the William and Mary Women's Chorus conductor, Dr. Bartlett held positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was the Acting Director of Choral Activities at Iowa State University. Her interests include ethnic music and music by women composers. Also active for many years as a church musician, she is the choir director at the Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists.
