2009.  Sarah Argodale, William Sinnott, Jan-Pieter Verheul (Organizers).  Film Series "Russian Adventure Film."  A film series exploring Soviet and Post-Soviet cinema's engagement with Western adventure, Western, and Sci Fi film conventions.

2009.  Vadim Shneyder.  Honors Thesis "Telling the People's Truth: Soviet Fairy Tale Film and the Construction of a National Bolshevik Film Genre."

2008.  Christopher Pieper (Organizer and Coordinator).  Documentary Film Series "Out of Obscurity: Women's Lives in Post-Soviet Space"  Chris coordimated a film series about the lives of women in Armenia, Lithuania, and Tajikistan after the fall of communism.  All the films were made by local women-filmamkers with support of Soros Foundation.

2007.  Erin Alpert.  Honors Thesis "Reinventing Soviet Visual Memory: A Case Study of Marina Goldovskaia's Documentary Solovki Power."

2005.  Joseph Kiser.  "Commodifying Identities: Representations of Intelligentsia in Post-Soviet Crime Fiction."
