Lecture "Russian Icons in the Age of the Romanovs"

Russian IconOn September 7th, at 5:30 pm. in Andrews Hall 101, Wendy Salmond will give a talk "Traditions in Transition: Russian Icons in the Age of the Romanovs." Wendy Salmond is the curator of the exhibition "Russian Icons in the Age of the Romanovs," currently open in the Muscarelle Museum of Art. Her talk explores the place of religious visual tradition in secular culture.
