Kate Pierce-McManamon recently completed and defended her Honors Thesis in History and German on the debates surrounding the reconstruction of the Frauenkriche in Dresden, Germany, and how these debates reflect broader issues of the construction of memory and identity. Kate has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for 2005-2006 to continue her work on this project.
