Christina Baker, Visiting Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies, earned her Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Professor Baker’s research focuses on Latin American identity expressed via embodied acts of queerness found in literature, popular culture, theatre, cabaret and film. Her teaching assignments include HISP 390: Queer Latinidad this fall, HISP 281: Introduction to Hispanic Studies in the spring, and HISP 207: Cross-Cultural Perspectives both semesters.
