I am Chen Si, the Chinese House Tutor of the College of William & Mary for the up coming academic year 2014-2015. I got my Bachelor's Degree (English and Japanese Major) in 2013 from Dalian Nationalities University, China. I am doing my master's degree now in Beijing Normal University, majoring in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Being interested in language learning and teaching, I have been the assistant researcher of Bilingual Teaching Program (Teaching in Chinese and English) in DLNU, and one of the assistant researcher leaders of the Program "The Performance of English Competence of High, Middle and Primary school students", which is a key educational research program aided by Chinese Social Science Foundation.
I have also been intern teaching at the senior high school and an assistant for the English Department of BNU. I have also just finished being the team leader for the "Study China Program", through which 82 British students have spent three weeks in China.
I hope to meet and experience China together in the on-going programs and activities in our Chinese-House.
