In this seminar, we will consider networks and their associated graphs. Networks arise in numerous everyday contexts: telephones, facebook, biological systems and so forth. We will examine mathematical aspects of networks starting with material in our main text:
Barabasi, Linked: How Everything is Connected to Everything Else and What it Means for Business, Science and Everyday Life.
