Full Description
Title: The decay of Fourier modes in solutions of the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes system.
Abstract: It was shown by Foias and Temam (and independently and ten years later by Mattingly and myself) that in the periodic case the modes decay exponentially. We shall discuss other cases in which it is presumably only powerlike.
