Title: Interactions between Ring Theory and Linear Algebra

Abstract. We will briefly survey several topics that may be considered as an
interaction between Ring Theory and Linear Algebra.
In particular we will present some applications of the theory of functional
identities to the linear preserver problems and we will discuss the possible
use of linear algebra methods towards some open questions in Ring Theory
related to the Koethe conjecture.
