This year’s Homecoming gathering “under the tent” in front of Adair Hall was held on the afternoon of October 24th. This was something different for us, as in the past we have gotten together at Adair Hall on the Saturday morning of Homecoming weekend. In shifting to Friday afternoon, we hoped to leave Saturday morning open for the increasing number of College-wide events that are now scheduled prior to the football game. (This year we beat James Madison by a score of 17-7.) Although we realize that we may have missed a few people who were still travelling on Friday afternoon, we were pleased with the number of alumni and friends who were able to join us. Despite the cold – but sunny – weather we stayed outside to enjoy each other’s company and to catch up on things while munching on appetizers washed down with cold drinks and water. So many success stories to hear about!! Our alumni always make us proud and remind us of what makes William & Mary such a special place. Please plan on joining us at next year’s Homecoming gathering at Adair as well as other exciting events happening throughout out the campus.
